Year One Valentine treats!

I‘ve never really been a huge fan of Valentine’s Day, but this year I thought I’d do a little tiny something for the kids in Hannah’s class at school.  We have to be a little bit careful in sending things to school to give out, what with rampant allergies and things, but I made up a little prototype earlier in the week and cleared it with the class teacher, so by last Friday we were good to go with 30 of these….

Little packets of mini Mentos inside a teeny custom box/wrap with a stamped heart and friend sentiment.  I tossed around a few ideas before arriving at this one.  The other ideas I had were a little too involved given that a bunch of 6 year olds were unlikely to admire the handiwork before tearing into them to get to the sweet stuff inside.  Yep, simple is definitely the way to go when you’re dealing with 6 year olds!
