Since starting this ‘last hurrah’ series of cards using retiring stamp sets, I have been having such a lovely time and have vowed for the upcoming catalogue to make sure that I use my stamps a whole lot more while they’re actually still current, rather than leaving it to a big emotional rush at the end! I’m also vowing to take a lot more pictures of my creations, as I’m sure I made a lot more with this stamp set, but can only find a couple now…
Today I am saying goodbye to Pocket Silhouettes – a gorgeous set of tiny floral images and two sentiments, all in the same box! Here is a bit of Pocket Silhouettes inspiration for your Thursday evening…
The centre of the three pictures above is of one of a set of cards that I demonstrated at a workshop on the weekend. I made up four of these little “love notes” with matching stamped envelopes and popped them in a cellophane bag with a First Edition DSP backing and tied with a ribbon. So cute 
The final one is my ‘last hurrah’ card, completed just this afternoon. It’s based on this card that I pinned on Pinterest some time ago, then re-visited today as inspiration. I added some additional shading to my version and absolutely love how it turned out. So much so that I’m even sadder to see the end of Pocket Silhouettes now…
