A month of amazement...

A little over a month ago, my little family and I embarked on a most incredible trip.  The trip of a lifetime and certainly not one that I ever imagined we would be able to take.

Following a week aboard the spectacular Allure of the Seas, cruising the Caribbean with over 200 other Grand Vacation achievers and their families from across all of Stampin' Up!'s several global markets, we spent four action packed days at Disneyworld in Orlando...

After arriving home I had three days to re-group, swap my bathers and sandals for jackets and scarves and head back across the country to Melbourne, the spot for this year's annual Stampin' Up! convention.

I've been back just over a week now and I've only just managed to pull myself together enough to think about putting fingers to keyboard. Or to anything else, to be honest.

I'm not sure whether it was the variety of time zones and the non-stop action of three amazing experiences I've encountered in a relatively short period of time, the head cold that descended almost the moment my feet touched West Aussie soil last week, or perhaps the very noticeable absence of a breakfast buffet since I've returned that have contributed to the significant feeling of having dropped my bundle these past several days - likely a combination of all that and more - but it's a long time since I felt so overwhelmed and so very pathetic.

Thankfully I know it's not a forever feeling and I have great tools to implement and wonderful people in my corner. Today has been a new day and I feel recharged and energetic, albeit with a determination to be careful that I don't dive headlong into "busy" as I can be known to do...

I have plans to share a lot more about our wonderful holiday, whether in blog posts, scrapbook pages, MDS layouts or Project Life (have you HEARD?!) - maybe all of the above - but for now there's a list of retiring products requiring attention.

Some of my (and your?!) faves are heading out the door to make way for an amazing new catalogue - find out all about the Retiring List, up next....
