With the new annual catalogue arriving at the beginning of the month, I have felt a little bereft of "digi time" recently, and decided that an impromptu MDS session on the couch last night was in order.
Isn't spontaneous creating the very best kind?!

Although I would ordinarily begin with a sketch or at least a slight preconceived idea of where I might be headed, this time around all I started off with was two rounded-corner photo boxes.
I would also usually stick to one pre-coordinated kit for ease of, well, co-ordination but this time around, I pretty much flew by the seat of my pants, knowing that I wanted to bring in some red and yellow to tie in with the colours of the girls' clothes and some green to bring in the photo backgrounds.
How'd I do?!
I love the end result and am inspired to "play" some more to see what other boundaries of my own creativity I might be able to poke ;-)
I have been remiss in not providing you with links to the new digital content of late, so unless you have taken it upon yourself to visit the new downloads section of my online store, you might have missed some gems.
I may or may not have had a little catch up digital shopping session of my own just now...

Since today's post has been brought to you by the delights of My Digital Studio, I thought I would continue in that vein and remind you of the upcoming My Digital Studio Make a Statement Tour.
Throughout next month, Stampin' Up! is taking MDS on the road to educate as many folk as possible on the creative possibilities made available to you with this fabulous, intuitive software.
For the bargain price of $35, your registration will score you a half day training in the use of the software plus a copy of the software itself, available as soon as your register and pre-loaded with a huge stash of digital content (normally valued at $24.95)
I am registered and ready to roll and would love to see a load of fellow digi fans there!
