Team Day Projects!

You might recall a reference in my previous post to a team stamping day that I was holding last weekend.  Myself and 17 of the girls in my team A Klass Act got together at my local Family Centre for a FUN afternoon of stamping!  Everybody completed 3 projects each - a card, a gift pouch and a 12x12 scrapbooking layout and now that it's all done and finished with, I can bring you the finished projects!

This first one uses some of the gorgeous new papers and accessories from the brand spankin' new Spring Mini, which kicked off yesterday.  The Summer Picnic papers are delightfully bright and summery and the die cut blooms (the blue flower) are FABULOUS for quick and simple, but effective cards - my favourite kind :)  There were 4 different combinations of the colours available for everyone to choose from, all of them using the same card layout, but the final card being quite different as a result of using different combinations of the die cut blooms, designer papers and co-ordinating ribbons.  This card can be literally thrown together in a couple of minutes!  Oh, and I totally meant to stick the apple printed paper upside down..... :)

This next one uses some more beautiful new stuff from the mini - this time the GORGEOUS new Holiday Harmony DSP and the Season of Joy stamp set.  The little gift pouch is an idea that I've seen in several different places, but can't remember exactly where, so if you are the originator of this idea or you know who is, please let me know so that I can give proper credit :)

Basically you just cut the ends off a licked and stuck envelope, fold it in half and stick it together in the centre, leaving two small open pockets inside.  Then it just gets stuck inside of an outer folded pouch, decorated to suit.  The folded envelope is perfectly sized to hold a store gift card and a little greeting card.

For the 12x12 layout, there was again a choice of colour scheme, both of which were based on the in-colours for this year.   This one uses Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and Groovy Guava...

And with the next one, whilst being exactly the same layout, by changing the stamps and colours, you quite a different feel to it....
