Last Thursday some of my stampin' team got together for a cuppa, some yummy homemade goodies, a card swap and mostly with a view to raising a bit of money for cancer research by throwing a "Biggest Morning Tea". It was rather an impromptu affair as we had only decided a couple of weeks prior that we would actually do it. What I loved was how, once the idea was floated, the team banded together like a well oiled machine! The morning tea was inspired by Ginny, organised with great flair by Vicki, hosted graciously by Sue, attended enthusiastically by about 10 of us (with a few unfortunately missing out due to work committments) and amid the frivolity and cups of tea, we managed to raise $250 for the cause! Yay team!!
I wanted to share some photos I took of the morning tea (quite literally, I took photos of the morning tea!!) Part of the organisational side of things that was done by Vicki was to provide the absolutely GORGEOUS servingware and tea sets that we used! Just take a gander at this delightful array!
Vicki and my cousin Lucy (*waving* Luce!) have a little business that they run whereby they provide these gorgeous tea sets and servingware for use at tea parties and they generously donated the use of their lovely settings for the morning. Their business is called "Looking Glass Tea Parties" and you can see their website and check out all the details here. Isn't it just the sweetest idea? I think it might be the perfect party idea for when my big girl turns 6!
