I just held my second Stamp-a-stack for the last two weeks and am still buzzing from the fun of it all, so thought I might pop a post up while I'm up :) Thanks SO much to all the ladies that filled my lounge room with stamping and chatter both this evening and last week. SUCH fun!!
Here is a card that I made for another little school friend's party recently. Another one using Big Blooms which I absolutely HAD to have from the Summer Mini, but I feel like I never really put it through its paces... I had grand plans for scrapbook pages and all sorts, but between Christmas and Sale-a-bration, never really got there! Nevermind, here's a card :)
I have layered the flowers in the same way that I have with the other cards that I made with this set in earlier posts and have also used a similar colour combination as this card but just changed the layout a bit. The flowers are mounted up on dimensionals and overlapped for fun!
See the little dots at the bottom? I have been meaning to try this out for AGES since I first saw the idea on a card in the Spring Mini I think it was. All it is, is circles punched out using the 1/2" circle punch using the same colour cardstock as the background piece. Gives it sort of a dry embossed look, which I LOVE!
Here's a bit of a closer look...
Don't forget that this gorgeous stamp set is only available until the end of THIS MONTH as it hasn't made a showing in the new Idea Book & Catalogue for 2008/09. Oh, have I not mentioned that I have seen the catalogue...? I have FOUR BOXES of the delectable thing sitting in my room here with me. Mmmmmmmmmmmm :)
