Recently I participated in a technique swap that focused on the use of regular old household bleach in conjunction with stamps. It's an amazingly simple technique that yields some really interesting and varied results! Here is my contribution to the swap:
I used the gorgeous Petal Prints set and also my staple background Linen with some spongeing around the edges.
Using the more solids stamps from the Petal Prints set, I stamped the fern onto the Always Artichoke and the flower onto Rose Red using bleach.
Then I inked up the outline fern stamp in Always Artichoke and stamped it over the top of the bleached image and did the same with the flower stamp in Rose Red ink (after waiting for the bleached images to dry).
The "for you" is from All Year Cheer I and I tied a bit of Moss Gingham Ribbon around the stamped piece to finish off. That piece is then mounted up on Stampin' Dimensionals to make it a bit more of a focal point.
(Ooh, I'm loving the way I can make my photos be where I want them now I have upgraded to the newest Wordpress software - what fun!!)
