My cousin (hi Lucy!!) hosted a pink ribbon morning tea this past weekend and I had said to her that I would make some little things up that could be used as door prizes or basically for whatever she liked! I came across some post it notes that happily enough were the pink ribbon ones where a percentage of the purchase price went towards the cause, so I grabbed a couple of packs and set about making these - two of each design:
I had previously come across this post and thought it may come in handy one day, and indeed it has! So simple but so very sweet!
Here they are individually, just click on the thumbnail for a larger view!
This one uses the big daisy from Looks Like Spring and some of the co-ordinating Spring Flowers designer paper. Also a button from the Soft Subtles range.
This one is from Nice and Easy Notes, which I have been having SO much fun with! Have I mentioned how much I have been enjoying watercolouring recently?! My mum and my Aunty "bags-ed' these ones as soon as we got there!
This one is from Both Way Blossoms, a Level 2 hostess set. I stamped it using my markers (Rose Red and Always Artichoke) onto Confetti Cream cardstock then used my aquapainter to drag some colour into the images. The little words are from Everyday Flexible Phrases and are stamped onto a separate scrap of Confetti Cram, cut out and stuck on!
This one is of course the small flower from Scribble This from the Spring mini catalogue that finishes up in a month! I have so loved using this set and hope that it makes it into our big catalogue when it comes out in April! In the background I have stamped the large scribble from the same set in Pretty in Pink and coloured in the flowers and dots with my white gel pen.
The absolute BEST part of the day was that it raised over $500 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, which will go toward the quest to find a cure for breast cancer - a most worthwhile cause :)
