A watercolouring interlude!

I should sooo be in bed right now, but I'm on a bit of a roll, so will keep going for a minute! I recently indulged in the watercolour paper and oh my goodness! That stuff turns ANYBODY into an artist! It is so thick and nicely textured and just sucks up the water making it easy to layer colours without your paper getting all soggy! Here is the image that I coloured:

I inked up my Nice and Easy Notes set for the first time with this one. It is not normally the style of stamp that I would go for but I just LOVE it now that I have played with it! It is so much fun to colour in! Here is the finished card - nice and simple and leaving the colouring in as the focal point:

Colours used are Cameo Coral and Chocolate Chip with a strip of Spring Flowers designer paper thrown in. I'm not sure if you can make it out, but I also stamped a smattering of the little sprayed dots from Itty Bitty Backgrounds in Cameo Coral down the right had side.
