Stamping for fun!

Not like stamping isn't ALWAYS fun, but I was having a play last night with a template that I found on a blog that I discovered and absolutely LOVE! Do yourself a favour and check out the blog of Kristina Werner. Her style is just fabulous! This is the card that I saw and wanted to case as I love the fun and clean design. This first one uses a combination of colours that I adore - so bright and gorgeous :) They are Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Almost Amethyst and Apricot Appeal.

sassy stems 1

The flower image is from Sassy Stems and is coloured in with a blender pen and ink from the lid of my Apricot Appeal and Regal Rose ink pads. I also coloured around the image with Going Grey to give it more depth. Then it is punched out with the 1-1/4" circle and layered onto a 1-3/8" circle in Certainly Celery. The greeting is from the hostess set Warmest Regards, which is such a handy set to have for your everyday greetings! I also used Itty Bitty Backgrounds for the dots and spots.

For the next one, the design is exactly the same, but I stretched myself a bit with the colour combination! It is Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, Orchid Opulence and Sage Shadow.

Greetings Galore 4

This image is from Greetings Galore and is stamped using my Stampin' Write Markers in Sage Shadow and Orchid Opulence, then watercoloured too. Itty Bitty backgrounds makes another appearance here, and for the stripes I used Background Sampler. I actually took this card with me to my bank today and gave it to the staff there! I LOVE my bank - they are always so cheerful and friendly, there are really comfy seats to sit on while you wait for your number to be called and they play Mr Bean on the TV while you wait!
