Now Aunty Mair has seen her card, so I can put it here for general perusal :) I'm not sure that it is a very good picture of it actually - I decided to take a photo 'al fresco' since we had had about a month of non stop rain here in Perth, then the sun shone for about 5 minutes, so I grabbed at the opportunity! Now I'm wondering if I should've taken it inside, but nevermind - here it is! I used a technique called "emboss resist" in this card. This is where I got the idea for the card and adapted it to the stamps that I had and the colours I wanted to use. It is the same girl with the fabulous stamping space that I put a link to in an earlier post - it is safe to say that I am a BIG fan of hers, she does such beautiful things!
The colours I used here are Blush Blossom, Cranberry Crisp and Close to Cocoa. The little square flower image is from Good Things Grow -a very versatile and just plain lovely set! I also used the Linen background on the Close to Cocoa background and the French Script background under the embossed part, but you can only just make this out in the photo.
