I'm supposed to be preparing for a workshop that I have tomorrow night (hi Janny - I promise I'll be ready!!) and am part way through getting organised for it, but I started having a play with Big Pieces from the mini and I am having SO much fun! I wanted to share this card straight away!
You will notice the merest use of a stripy ribbon on the right. It is from the Sweet Shop range of Ribbon Originals and they are my brand new favourite thing! You may wonder what took me so long to get some, and truthfully, I have no idea - they are absolutely divine! I couldn't choose which ones to get first, so I got them all and now they sit neatly in Alex's fifth drawer! They look so lovely, it's a bit of a wrench to open them up and use them to be honest, but I did - only about 2cm in this particular case! The colours of the card were inspired entirely by the colours of the ribbon - Almost Amethyst, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery. In addition to Big Pieces, I also used Polka Dots and Petals for the centre of the flower on the right, and All in a Row for the flower stems. The is also a bit of paper piercing on the bottom left corner and "hello" is stamped under the panel to the right.
Isn't it just so cheery?!
