I almost forgot - I have a couple of additional little projects to show you which don't fit into either previous posts about cards or scrapbook pages, so they get a post of their own! Here is the first one:
I am a bit of a sucker for little notebooks and will quite often grab a handful when I see them going cheap, with plans to pretty them up later. This little notebook cost me all of $2 at the Reject Shop and the new Designer Series paper is perfect for the job of beautifying it! Firstly I covered the whole front with a piece of Old Olive that was stamped randomly with Polka Dots and Petals. I made the holes for the rings to fit through using the large Anywhere Hole Punch from the Crafter's Tool Kit. Then all I did was add some strips of the Designer Paper and a tag from the On Board Accents covered in some of the same range of paper, a stamped monogram, a sliver of ribbon and that's it! All for $2 and about half an hour's
My final offering for this evening (in fact it is 7 minutes until morning and here I was going to have an early night..!!) is this little gift box using a template from the Demonstrator website:
I have used the Big Pieces and Little Pieces stamp sets coloured with markers in the same way as I did previously in the 6x6 scrapbook page, but with a different combination of colours, you get an entirely different effect. Again you will notice my current favourite colour combination. I promise I will get over it and move on soon....!
