Be still my fluttering heart…

in Cards, Stamping

A couple of weeks ago we were invited to a gorgeous engagement party at a beautiful Perth yacht club on a balmy Sunday evening.

Such a lovely occasion called for an equally lovely card, and there are few stamp sets lovelier than Hearts a Flutter, particularly when you take into account the matching Framelits (discounted and coordinated product bundle, anyone…?!  Ask me for details… ;-) )

This was my first inking of the stamp set, and my first go with the Framelits too, and I can see them both becoming firm favourites.

Am I the only one that gets all goose-bumpy at the cutting perfection of the large heart shaped Framelit around the edge of the pretty, lacy heart stamp?  Surely not…

SARAH’S STAMPIN’ TIP:

  • Coloured cardstock, very thinly cut, makes for perfectly co-ordinated “thread” in your buttons :-)
  • A Post-it note is your best friend when trying to ensure that a Framelit doesn’t move during the cutting process.  Stick one across the Framelit and the stamped cardstock to hold them in place as they go through the Bigshot

The Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching Framelits, along with the More Amore Specialty Designer Series paper that you can spy in the background can be found on page 11 of the Seasonal Catalogue and can be ordered by the simple process of getting in touch with me ;-)
