I‘m a long-time stationery nerd with a passion for all things paper and ink, so when Stampin’ Up! spread their wings downunder early in 2006, I just knew it was the perfect opportunity for me.
Over the years since I first started out as a demonstrator, my direction has changed a number of times. I started out purchasing just for myself, but soon switched to running workshops when I realised that there were a good many people in my immediate circles who loved to craft as much as I did. Classes and an online presence soon followed and I have since combined being a demonstrator with my life as mum to two growing girls, adding a part time job in a local school library to my schedule in the past couple of years.
The flexibility of the role of Stampin' Up! demonstrator has been such a blessing, allowing me to devote chunks of time to it when I was at home with small children, and less time as needed when my life and working availability has been pulled in other directions.
By far the greatest blessings have been the friendships I have made with amazingly kindred spirits, and the opportunities that I have been afforded through working with this most incredibly generous company.
