Wow, from not blogging for yonks to three posts in a day – you guys must be wondering whether you’re Arthur or Martha! I’ve always been tickled by that saying and am delighted to have an opportunity to use it here…. 
Just wanted to pop in quickly to say a HUGE….
..to the many of you who voted online for this photo – my entry into the 2009 Centro Smile Photography Contest.
I am beside myself to report that I received a phone call late this afternoon to say that my picture was the winner of the Viewers’ Choice award, along with which goes a brand new Nikon S710 digital camera!
Holy Moly! To say I’m excited is the understatement of the millennium! It’s a great little camera too – we fired it up as soon as the battery was charged 
It will be the perfect small companion to our recently acquired Canon 500D digital SLR that has been a lot of fun to learn about.

Wow that is awesome news!! Congratulations!! That was a fabulous photo though. Glad you won.
That saying is so funny!!! You reminded me of the wonderful and ever delightful “You’ve Got Mail” movie. When in the commentary Tom Hanks mentions just how much he likes the word “garnish” and wants to put it in!! Hence the scene with both of them at the fancy dinner, he is scrapping the “garnish” off and Kathleen Kelly is in HORROR that he would do such a thing!! The word gets mentioned a couple of times and well Tom’s wish comes true!!! HE HE!! You’ve just done the same thing!! LOVE IT
Anyway about the comp. WOW WEE!!! (one of my fav saying’s, though not highly appropriate with the whole toilet talk kids get stuck into at times…) I’m soooo happy for you that you’ve won!!! YOU WON!!! Congrat’s HEAPS and huge HUGS to you lovely lady!! The photo totally deserves to win, so super well done!!!
