A parade of baby cards….

Well, it’s only a small parade but if you need a baby card, hopefully you’ll find some inspiration here over the next few days…!

We begin with Ben – my cousin Lucy’s delightful little boy who was born in February this year.  I only caught up with Ben and Lucy a few weeks ago, for the first time since he was born – terrible, I know.  I am like the plumber with the leaky taps and the mechanic with the old rust-bucket of a car.  I am the card maker that is always late with cards for my nearest and dearest.

Seriously, it’s a problem….

I did enjoy making Bens’ card though!  Here it is…..

I just can’t get enough of Baja Breeze with any kind of brown at the moment and I think this combination works as well in a card for a little fellow as it does for almost any other occasion.

At least I’m hoping it does, ’cause it’s my current go-to colour combination for pretty much everything I’m churning out these days…!

Check back tomorrow for a baby girl card based on the exact same layout as this, but with different stamps and colours and quite a different result…

This is lovely Sarah and I love how you’re putting the stamp sets used up as well…….have I said that before, it sounds familiar? When they’re seen as a set and then you show how beautifully you’ve put them together….well it makes me think ‘hey I could do that’. Really gorgeous! Maybe some cards are received a bit later but my goodness they’re worth waiting for. I hope you’re going to show my beautiful card and gift box on here sometime. I took them to work today for show ‘n tell and people were they were beautiful. :) xxx

:( did you spot the deliberate mistake? My people at work thought they were beautiful…..and they are x

Yep Priscilla, Nursery Necessities really is rather a necessity for me, as I have used it on almost every baby card I have made since I’d had it!

Aunty Mair – I will be featuring your gift box and card in a gifts parade that I plan on doing similar to the baby card one! I have a few to show :)

Sarah I love this card so much, it’s been on display in our kitchen since we saw you! And at least Ben actually received a card – can’t say I have been that organised with either of your gorgeous girls! xxoo Lucy
