A busy week…

It’ s been just over a week since convention in Sydney, and I plan to do a post of my version of events just as soon as possible, I’m just not sure at this stage when “possible” might be….

I am currently awaiting the arrival of my camera from Sydney, as it evidently decided to stay a few additional days on its own by slipping down  behind the bedside table away from view during our “are you sure we haven’t forgotten anything” triple sweep of the hotel room as we walked out last Tuesday evening.

Thankfully the lovely businessman who checked into our room after us found it tucked away whilst on the hunt for a power point and handed it in to the front desk.   So although it will never likely reach his ears, thank you so very much Mr Businessman for your honesty and for saving my convention memories for me :)

Since our return, we have hit the ground running with our big girl’s seventh birthday, which also sadly coincided with the funeral of Tim’s dear, sweet 92 year old Gramps, who slipped away quietly last Saturday while we were away.

I plan to be back later today with my card for the latest Just Add Ink challenge, so hopefully I will see you back here then.

I agree with the comments above about the really special picture of Gramps….so lovely to put that up for people to see. Sounds like a life well lived. Lucky Klass family for having him for so long.

I hope the Mr Businessman gets some warm fuzzies from all the nice thoughts going his way……what a terrific thing for him to do. And by crikey he saved your hide……..can you imagine the mutiny if we didn’t get a Convention wrap a-la Sarah? Sounds like it was a great time and I know I’ve already said so but many, many congratulations for your special achievements. lotsa xxxxx
